Empowering Independence: How Spirituality Supports Self-Reliance and Confidence

Being independent is one of the most empowering paths we can take, but also a tough one, me being an independent woman, is a path with ups and downs, lots of emotions, thoughts, dealing with all kinds of circumstances, like your own belief system, courage, self motivation and willpower, and more areas to deal with.

I have realized that besides the love area, independence is one of my biggest life themes, showing up in different forms, as challenges and opportunities. Being a full time single mother for almost 15 years, has definitely been my growth area for independence.

For me independence is a matter of freedom and being able to make your own decisions based on personal values, living a life that reflects where you are and with what you love. I also think is a matter of taking full responsibility for yourself, managing your life and looking at things which you are trying to avoid. Embracing self-reliance, confidence, and the freedom to create a life aligned with your values. Independence provides us with the strength to pursue our dreams, free from dependence on others and circumstances we dont like. And I believe that true independence starts within—by connecting with your spirit and intuition.

In my spiritual practice, I help clients strengthen their inner voice, releasing limiting beliefs, and aligning with their higher purpose. Through healing, mediumship, and intuitive guidance, I support those who wants to empower themselves, making choices that honor their soul and goals. Financially and emotionally independence can be nurtured through inner work, spiritual guidance, and energy healing, leading to a life where we feel self-assured, purposeful, and free. And I can honestly say I walk my own talk on my own path.

I encourage you to set up one small independent goal with a clear action plan. For me it has been different things, like running, giving myself the clear goal to be able to run 5kilometers/3,10miles in 15 weeks. The reasons I started to run again was that I obviously needed to change some habits in my life, so my health could be better, but I knew from earlier in my life, if I started running again, asking professionals for help to overcome and manage old injuries, I would be able to succeed in the end. But the most important thing for me about running is my mindset. I love who I am when I run, I look at myself in a much brighter, loving, caring, respectful way, giving myself room because I have an understanding that training takes time, we actually need to take time out to do it, and just do it, and over time it pays out a result. I know myself enough that I keep my own word to complete what I have started.

For several years have I had a goal to improve my connection with spirit and mediumship, which means I have spend 3-6 times a week (mostly in the evenings, where I doesn’t function well, because I am a morning person) for several years practicing, being a student, honing my skills, reading, putting myself out there with my skills and feeling vulnerable, until I now feel very comfortable and really good about it.

For the moment my goal is to create more resting time, more space for spontaneous things to happen….slowing down, yesterday I took a day off and packed a picnic bag for one of my friends and myself, and we had a beautiful long walk in a nearby forrest and had some hours next to a wonderful lake where we sat barefeeted next to a tree, some docks came and laid next to us, we saw two newly married couples having their photos taken, sun was shining, warm weather, just calm, restful and good for our friendship…

“If you feel safe in the area you’re working in, you’re not working in the right area. Always go a little further in to the water than you feel you´re capable of being in. Go a little bit out of your depth, and when you don´t feel your feet are quite touching the bottom, you’re just about in the right place to do something exciting” David Bowie

If you feel ready to embrace your independence and align with your spirit, I invite you to join me. Book a session here to start your journey toward empowerment, authenticity and a going deeper in to the water.

Aligning and Embracing

Align yourself by embracing enjoying, resting, reflecting, being inspired, perhaps being social, seeking silence, going within, spending time outside, dreaming, recovering from very busy periods, offering tenderness and caress for yourself and your family, in general listening to your intuition. I believe its a healthy path to connect with your soul and offer yourself a…
