Find your mental hack

Don’t calendar your life, remember success comes in many forms and ages, life doesn’t follow a schedule and you are not supposed to achieve something within a specific time, follow the feeling of excitement and your soul on fire, the joy, happiness and passion, that hobby and interest that adds magic to your life is so important.

My magic thing this period is running, I’m a runner – after years of not running because of old injuries – I have started running again in a professional running club – one of the best things I have done for myself in a long time. We are training to run 5 km/3,10 miles, which Im near now…

One of the reasons I have started running again is first and foremost because of my mental state. There is something about running that always have helped me to keep a healthier mental state, second, my intention was to feel better in my body and take better care of it in to my older age…

I know from previous, where I was exercising a lot, running, gym, swimming, all kinds of training, that running and strength training creates ripple effects in other parts of my life and it makes me eager and more present in my life, my outlook on life becomes more positive, bright and happy when Im running. (when Im traveling I have the same feeling, sitting on a flight from A to B creates the same feeling in me). I actually have several areas that helps me with that, and I always know when to re-introduce a helpful habit supporting me in many different areas.

Why I’m mentioning running and helping yourself through different activities, not only training but all kinds of things, is because I think we sometimes can fall in to the trap of routines, endless list’ of task and duties, being busy, sometimes busy without direction. If we realize and know what helps us in our daily life embracing the present moment, I think it will support our body, mind and soul, and create true connections with ourself and our Spirit and Soul.

Through our presence and feeling more alive, it strengthens our choices, our passions, and our way of expressing our words and ourself in life, it also helps us to remember how it is to be alive, to keep grounded in the knowing of feeling alive. Im tapping in to my awareness in my running, Im present when I run, it helps me with my faith and perseverance, it helps me to transcend not only the body, but also my mindset with being in the present moment…
