The importance of selflove is tremendous and it can be what you actually are looking for in your life. If you haven’t been taught what selflove is you probably need to go through several processes to understand that what you need is yourself. We all know that meditation, a shower, calling a friend, cooking a nice meal, music and so on can help you, but there is so much more to selflove. Staying in a place of love towards yourself can look like :

Being kind to yourself although the situation didn’t turn out the way you imagined. Resting enough, listening to your own body or mind, I think I need to rest now – also when it is in the middle of the day or right before dinner. Being satisfied with your 30% effort is as good as 110% because you listened to yourself. Eating when you are hungry, also when work doesn’t look like it allows you to eat…pause and give yourself that meal, your body and whole system needs it. Honor your boundaries – you know when you are helping from your heart and helping from obligation and norms. Offer yourself kind thoughts when people have another opinion about you and what you are doing, self worth isn’t defined by others. Letting go of comparison and being yourself in the present moment means you are choosing you and that’s enough, you are unique, there is no one like you. Remember who you are living your life for -yourself, be visible, share your light. Prioritize yourself every day, lots of self care. Remember that your body hear what your mind is saying, so talk nice to yourself. Walk healthy paths and let go of those who hurt you. Go more and more with the flow and remind yourself that you cannot control most things in life and it is so freeing to let go. You cannot get too much love, love is everything. Give yourself the opportunity to remember how good you are doing despite the circumstances. Taking good care of yourself is good for everybody else, it’s an investment in a good and positive ripple effect in your life and other peoples life. Your own company is pretty good company – choose yourself. Stuck, confused and lost in life is actually pointers and helpers, they show you areas where you can let go of old layers of who you are not anymore and they allow you the opportunity to become yourself, look at it and deal with it with selflove. A small step is also a step. Slowing down can sometimes be what you need, it helps you to hear yourself clearly. Allow yourself what you need. Growth is part of selflove and that needs time, being patient with yourself, compassionate, loving, flowing with life, accepting what is, no matter what. You can rely on yourself. Your home is your body, mind and soul. You are enough, find the space and time for yourself every day. Selflove is about looking after yourself in a good way. Who are you spending time with and how? That’s also selflove who enters your personal space, and who you spend time with and how. It’s about creating a balance in your life and with your energy, spending time with yourself, doing what you love, understanding your own needs, get enough sleep. Trusting your instincts, your gut, your intuition is helping you with selflove. Selflove can also be not having a plan and give it over to the infinite intelligence. Selflove is that little flower you kept in your cover and reminds you of something good. Selflove is also getting out of your comfort zone and realizing you have potential and abilities to share. Be your own highest priority.

Selflove is a way of putting yourself on your spiritual journey.
