A very lovely path to yourself is through a passion or leisure activity. What do you love to do? Cooking or baking, playing an instrument, something creative like writing, photography, painting, hiking, yoga, swimming, books, gardening, crafts…something that makes you relax, forget about time, something that feels like you and the thing you do are aligned. Something that makes you happy, you create time to do it, look forward to do it, are missing to do it…
Doing the things we love is grounding us, giving us more space inside, makes us curious, quiet, calm…despite the activity.
Its something you do for yourself, its good for your mental health and nervous system and doesn’t have to be a big thing and it has nothing to do with working on yourself, effort, struggle, fight, resistance.
You are returning to yourself, you can feel something is changing inside of you when you do it, it fills you up. You sit or move by yourself, giving it full attention, feel safe, eager, sometimes whimsical, you’re shifting to another frequency, it is the opposite of stress, it gives you a certain feeling inside, peace, joy, happiness, simplicity, going with the flow, you are in the now.
Its a good way of calling back your own energy and strength and expanding yourself, claiming yourself, its such a nice way to return within, make space for yourself, hold you and your own space as often as you can, lovingly, choose to stay with yourself.
It will slow your heart rate and reduce your cortisol – listen to your body and how you feel, you are self regulating when you are doing your thing. It’s healthy, empowerment, selflove and really nice.

Coming home to yourself
