This post is a little bit of everything but mainly about the spiritual work we did at the Azores.
Life is a stream of energy vibrations interacting, affecting everything around you and within you and everything in the Universe have an effect on you and your life, but you are the master of your own life and are having a personal responsibility for your own destiny.
Your soul and mind qualities keep growing, evolving and maturing in the spirit realm, so spirits on the other side like to work with us on this side through connection. So part of being a medium is to make yourself available for those in the spirit realm to they can express themselves one way or another, the amount of expression is a matter of the mediums capacity and willingness to allow the inner self to evolve and create a bond with the spirit realm. Personally I never thought I would enter the trance mediumship field, but spirit had other plans.
In the spring I really went deeper in to my development of trance mediumship having 1:1 sessions with my mentor Josef Siegle and it helped me to progress faster and deeper, so I felt my level would be fine for the workshop at the Azores. I recently had this wonderful trip to the Azores where we were a group of mediums, mainly trance mediums meeting and practicing, working and creating connections with the spirit world through trance speaking, trance healing, trance figuration (a change of form or appearance the mediums body change in to the form spirit have taken), seances (spirit blend with the medium at the physical level, spirit speaks and take over the body and functions of the medium) and a lot of meditation helping our minds to let go of control and just be.
Some of the mediums participating do I meet on a regular basis every week in a trance circle Im part of, other mediums have I trained or practiced with in different workshops or circles, but I haven’t met any of them psychically, and again some didn’t I know, so it was wonderful to meet and access other levels of understanding and bonds with each other.
Trance mediumship work focus point is the the qualities of the medium, everything around the communication coming from Spirit is based on the skills and level of the medium, and it is also what decides the results of the communication and activities. Not to say you need to be highly skilled to be a trance medium, it’s more your qualities of being a living instrument a “telephone” for the spirit world. You can compare it with a violinist getting a better result with a high quality violin like a Stradivarius, because the beauty and quality makes spirit able to bring forward better results. So the character of the medium has a big impact on the quality, results and the power of attraction between spirit and the medium.
Health is an important area within this field, and it is so much more than exercises and your diet, the health of the spirit within demands some development, your ability to hear, speak and see beyond the physical world. Being sensitive to the spiritual world, the energy, the infinite source/love/spark surrounding us all that richness and beauty, for some its invisible, for others visible. But being open to develop it, through art or doing what you love, by surrounding yourself with people you feel connected with, through stillness, can help you be connected with the spiritual power. It’s a way of receiving inspiration and wisdom from Source Energy/The infinite Intelligence/God/Love /The big Spirit what ever you call it.
Intuition is your pathway, its the voice of Spirit and its the tool Spirit are using to become aware of one Self passing the Ego state and sensing something much larger than the human state. Intuition is you balancing and creating harmony with being a more clear reciever of information from your Soul/Spirit. Inspiration is part of it, you can be conscious or unconscious tuning in to the information from Source Energy.
When Spirit blends with the medium a lot of psychical changes happen in the main functions of the body, changes in the heart beat, pulse, temperature, blood circulation and the breath, it mainly happens in the blending state between the medium and spirit, but throughout the session and blending changes can happen. Who that are coming through can vary, sometimes it is someone from the family, other times there is no earthly connection, instead its a spiritual connection between your soul and a Spirit where you have decided to fulfill a task you have agreed about.
This time I brought through one of my guides, which have tried to come through in a much stronger way over a longer period of time, but I haven’t felt ready for it and with this power. It can feel unfamiliar in a way that someone else is in your energy field and are blending with you with a lot of power and energy. You need to feel comfortable with letting go of control, surrender and step aside, ego find it highly disturbing, so its a matter of letting your spirit take over and put the ego to rest, or ask ego to quiet down. Ego can be quite persistent about being around and wanting to have the last word.
You are kind of melting together you and spirit, and the energy from all the mediums in the circle helps you with the blend. You can also sit for yourself and blend, but as a beginner the group energy helps with the blending because of it’s power and can help you until you learn to build strong power yourself. The group dynamic is also very important, groups where some of the members have frictions create disharmony between spirit and the medium. You are working with mental forces, so invisible thoughts, impulses, wills and wishes affects the communication. It can take years to create good results in a circle – you meet week after week and have no results, and you can meet a week like we did and have a lot of results – like we did.
I think our good results had to do with our location at Saô Miguel at the Azores, the space we worked in, the 520 years old convent where monks had been praying a lot and worked with healing, the group dynamic, skills and of course our highly skilled teacher and his level of guidance made a huge difference in the results of the presence of Spirit.
Spirit made themselves very present in so many ways throughout the week, there were messages from loved ones, from guides, from monks who had lived at the convent, we witnessed things moving and becoming alive (table, glass and other items moving fast and up in the air without us doing anything), faces of Spirit showed up in front of the mediums, the temperature of the place had sudden changes cold and warm, spirit spelled out messages and gave a lot of written messages.
See the end of this post a wonderful example, where our teacher one late evening left a blank piece of paper and a pen placed upright a private place, and the next morning there was a message and a drawing at the paper, the words HAPPY and it looks like some mountains.
I love this work, so I will end this post and sit quiet for a moment and connect with spirit. May you all enjoy your day and thank you Spirit and the loving energy which surrounds us, breathe us, the Source we already are.

The importance of selflove is tremendous and it can be what you actually are looking for in your life. If you haven’t been taught what selflove is you probably need to go through several processes to understand that what you need is yourself. We all know that meditation, a shower, calling a friend, cooking a nice meal, music and so on can help you, but there is so much more to selflove. Staying in a place of love towards yourself can look like :
Being kind to yourself although the situation didn’t turn out the way you imagined. Resting enough, listening to your own body or mind, I think I need to rest now – also when it is in the middle of the day or right before dinner. Being satisfied with your 30% effort is as good as 110% because you listened to yourself. Eating when you are hungry, also when work doesn’t look like it allows you to eat…pause and give yourself that meal, your body and whole system needs it. Honor your boundaries – you know when you are helping from your heart and helping from obligation and norms. Offer yourself kind thoughts when people have another opinion about you and what you are doing, self worth isn’t defined by others. Letting go of comparison and being yourself in the present moment means you are choosing you and that’s enough, you are unique, there is no one like you. Remember who you are living your life for -yourself, be visible, share your light. Prioritize yourself every day, lots of self care. Remember that your body hear what your mind is saying, so talk nice to yourself. Walk healthy paths and let go of those who hurt you. Go more and more with the flow and remind yourself that you cannot control most things in life and it is so freeing to let go. You cannot get too much love, love is everything. Give yourself the opportunity to remember how good you are doing despite the circumstances. Taking good care of yourself is good for everybody else, it’s an investment in a good and positive ripple effect in your life and other peoples life. Your own company is pretty good company – choose yourself. Stuck, confused and lost in life is actually pointers and helpers, they show you areas where you can let go of old layers of who you are not anymore and they allow you the opportunity to become yourself, look at it and deal with it with selflove. A small step is also a step. Slowing down can sometimes be what you need, it helps you to hear yourself clearly. Allow yourself what you need. Growth is part of selflove and that needs time, being patient with yourself, compassionate, loving, flowing with life, accepting what is, no matter what. You can rely on yourself. Your home is your body, mind and soul. You are enough, find the space and time for yourself every day. Selflove is about looking after yourself in a good way. Who are you spending time with and how? That’s also selflove who enters your personal space, and who you spend time with and how. It’s about creating a balance in your life and with your energy, spending time with yourself, doing what you love, understanding your own needs, get enough sleep. Trusting your instincts, your gut, your intuition is helping you with selflove. Selflove can also be not having a plan and give it over to the infinite intelligence. Selflove is that little flower you kept in your cover and reminds you of something good. Selflove is also getting out of your comfort zone and realizing you have potential and abilities to share. Be your own highest priority.
Selflove is a way of putting yourself on your spiritual journey.

Living a life where you don’t feel the people you are surrounded by either understand you, see you or they are asking you to be as them can be quite lonely. Not being able to be yourself is affecting us in different ways, we can deal with it with very different strategies. Trying to fit in and pleasing others and their needs is a very common way to deal with it. In our need of being accepted, trying to belong to a group and being loved. My experience is we will do a lot to fit in and ignore the one we truly are.
You already know when you are not you, because you sense it, you become a shadow of yourself, you become invisible, you are perhaps more quiet and calm on the outside but screaming on the inside, or more outgoing to and outspoken to avoid your own inner company and the one you truly are. You perhaps feel that people don’t listen to you or are not interested in what you have to say, don’t find your humor interesting or consider you silent, because you have so different interest’ , perspectives of life that you never really talk about the things that interest you. You just get so used to be a shadow of who you are, and make it work in the setting you’re in at work, at home, with your relationships/acquaintances.
You may have been following in the footsteps of the wellknown from childhood home, you may have chosen the types of people similar to those you grew up with because it feels safe, but at the same time not are your kind of people, because they dont see you for the one you actually are in your depths, or are curious understanding who you are. When you choose safety over yourself, and similar lifepatterns you saw when you grew up, you have found your own strategy and make it work in a way, you deal with it in the way that you live your life, get married, have some children, go to work, take care of dailylife things, encourage your people and on the outside in a way show you are content, but on the inside disappear more and more. You may also limit yourself and your own expression, because your people dont show interest’ in the real you. Have you tried it? Do you recognize it?
Although you accept lesser than nothing and are an effort to keep it working, you may think other people and their messy lifes are pathetic, but in fact inside are deadly afraid of messing it all up as well, you may try to keep everything the same, because you can’t deal with the danger of your own questions about your life choices, relationships and consequences.
For a period of time you keep peace in your life, but you know that truth will show it self over time, you know that change is inevitable it’s only a matter of time. You’re having deeper conversations with yourself, a deeper relationship with yourself, asking yourself some new questions, choosing new dailylife patterns, getting out there where you can’t control things – thats how life helps you to be your authentic true self and change the “curse” of your life.
Look at your life, who are truly curious about you? Are you happy or in deep sorrow about your life? Sometimes we make immense sacrifices to live the life we want. I remember when I decided to get a divorce and split up my family with two smaller children, I felt a deep sorrow next to so much joy in life. Looking back and having brought a huge sacrifice I still think it’s so important to live our life as we want it, feel the warmth inside of being truthful, giving ourself the version life we need, are longing for, and feel aligned inside out.
When you start choosing yourself, shower your sorrow of your old life with the joy of life you get through it. Find the places in your life where you feel safe in a new way, by yourself, without your phone, no newspaper, books , tv or a lot of other people and help yourself to walk around in your life not feeling you are silly. When you let yourself be you without restrictions you can breathe the fresh air again, you get curious, you become more loose about yourself and your image, you become free, you give yourself permission to not being mediocre, you meet your own gaze in the mirror without closing your eyes, you keep the gaze, are looking, looking at yourself, your life and see your own magnificence. There is only one You, love what you see.

Are you curious about how I answered them read below the questions….
*Living in Greenland at the time, quitting my job “out of the blue” and entering a period of having responsibilities and no safety net plus having responsibilities and a lot of expenses. Then asking spirit to help me with a specific amount of money so I could go away for 3 months for 1 month healing education in California, 1 month vacation and 1 month starting up again. Spirit answered my request by giving me two huge interior projects covering all the expenses for the three months. Everything went so fast and fell in to place. Sometimes it is a matter of deciding – this is what I want. (this is one of the many times where I have been helped in a big way)
*I think I would host many more live events 🙂
*My periods of insecurity about daily life aspects, am I doing the right thing, have I taken the right choices, will I need to look after a “normal” job, will there be enough money and so on, and its definitely me being confronted in my own old way of living and in my mind not always giving myself what I long for.
*always always trust your gut feeling, your intuition is your best friend and will lead you to the good places in life. Ps. and do the things you love to do in small and big.
*at the beach, knitting, laughing with my girls, long walks, sleeping at the coach, sometimes cooking, and everyday looking after my rose plants.
*Yesterday, I started a running course in a group in a professional runners club, that felt good. But I would also say last month where I went to Sweden for an Ayahuasca retreat, that was so lovely…I really felt I loved myself by offering myself that time and experience.
*living in the story Im telling myself for the moment, including a long term home (although Im a nomad by heart), travel a lot more frequently with my work for inspiration and pleasure, write as part of my work, offering my INUA program more widely, keep myself happy happy happy, feel powerful, invincible, clear minded, vitality, eagerness – another level of deeper connection with myself and to remember always seeking my Souls wisdom when I get confused, freedom on all areas of my life.
